How much do I give my 14 month oldBy Heather from Virginia on June 11, 2006 Category: Carbaxefed DM RF (Oral) My child was prescribed Carbaxefed DM RF when he was 4 months old and I was told to give him only 1/4 a dropper every 4-6 hours. He is now 14 months old and I'm not sure how much to give him. I would assume that he could have more than a 1/4 dropper amount now that he is older, but I don't want to give him too much either. And I'm not sure how often now I'm supposed to during the day b/c it was a year ago that it was prescribed and I haven't needed it again until now. Any help and knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! |
MsI have the same thing for my 5 month old. The box says the following: 1-3 mos - 1/4 dropper (1/4 ml) 4 times a day 3-6 mos - 1/2 dropper (1/2 ml) 4 times a day 6-12 mos - 3/4 dropper (3/4 ml) 4 times a day 12-24 mos - 1 dropper (1 ml) 4 times a day.
