Alavert Drug InteractionBy Liz from Maryland on June 11, 2006 Category: Alavert D-12 Hour (Oral) I'm on Macrobid for a bladder infection, and took an Alavert D tablet due to hayfever, which my doctor said I could do. About an hour after taking the Alavert, I started getting a red itchy rash that eventually spread over my entire body. Is this a normal side effect of the taking Macrobid and Alavert together? If so, what kind of hayfever medicine can I take that won't interact with the Macrobid? Some of the rash has gone away, but I still have it on some areas of my body. Should I apply a topical cream for itching or should I leave it alone and let it go away on its own? |
