got period a week after starting on jolivette...By allison from fairfield, ca on June 10, 2006 Category: Jolivette (Oral) i was prescribed jolivette on 6/2 by my doctor...currently breastfeeding a one month old son..i've been taking it religiously for a week...same time every night...and one week into it i got my period....is that normal to get it so soon?? also...i read that one way jolivette helps to prevent pregnancy is from thickening the mucus in the vagina, making it implantation less probable...does this mean that there could be an actual fertalized egg that just may not be able to implant? sounds creepy to me if that's the case... |
