Side effects of AvandiaBy Lorenza from Panama on April 03, 2006 Category: Avandia (Oral) My husband has been taking Amaryl and Metformine for several years, but about a year ago his doctor added Avandia to make a better control of his blood sugar. Lately ,blood tests disclosed that he has anemia and his doctor stopped the use of Avandia. Could it be really the cause of his anemia? I was happy with Avandia since his blood sugar had been under control ever since he started uthis medication. I would like to have your opinion on this subject. I have been reading on the internet about Avandia and I do not find anything that says that it could cause anemia. Please give me your opinion. |
