In the patient packet that came with the pills, it said if you started it the same day you started your period that you would not need any backup form of protection. Through looking around online now, I have found numerous websites that say to use a backup form of protection within the first three weeks. I've been taking the pill the same time everyday just as it says to do, have never been more than about an hour and a half off of the same time...I had unprotected sex for the first time 2 weeks after starting the pill; my question is, do i have anything to worry about, or theoretically, am I okay? |
