Is hydrocodone/guaifenesin the same as vitussin expectorant?By Lisa from Louisville, KY on March 01, 2006 Category: Vitussin Expectorant (Oral) My doctor put me on a medicine called hydrocodone/guaifenesin liquid cough syrup. When I went to get a refill on it the pharmacy gave me vitussin expectorant. My question is - are these the same medications and why are the names different if they are the same? Did the pharmacy give me the wrong medicine? |
