Classification of calcium supplementsBy Dr Nandita Adhikary from India on February 28, 2006 Category: CALCIUM SUPPLEMENT (Oral) (Tablet) Are there any classifications regarding calcium supplements into first second and third generation. some sites divide calcium supplements as inorganic, organic and natural source calcium supplements. they include calcium carbonate, calcium citrate etc. in inorganic group; oyster shell and bone meal calcium supplements in organic group and coral calcium in the natural source group. in which group calcium citrate malate falls? are there any such classifications or any other classification dividing calcium supplements in three generations? |
