ultram - narcotic or not?By Barbara from Tampa, FL on February 25, 2006 Category: Ultram (Oral) Is Ultram a non-narcotic medication, and if not, why is it addictive? If I don't want to take a narcotic or controlled pain medication, but need pain meds for headaches, is this what I should be taking? It was prescribed by my Neurologist but I've read some scary things about Ultram. I thought it was a safer medication than the others. I hope you will read this and respond as soon as possible.
