Lovastatin side effectsBy Terry T from Belgrade, Maine on February 23, 2006 Category: LOVASTATIN (Oral) (Tablet) I started taking Lovastatin in 01/2005. I took it about 70 days at 40 MG and found that I was waking with aching arms and I also noticed I was loosing strength in my arms. The pain is felt in both the forearm and the biceps. I called my doctor and was advised to stop the medication which I did. Most of the aching left but I have not been able to get the strength back in my arms. While lifting I experience pain in both arms. Is there anything I can do to regain my strength? When they label a side-effect as "rare" what does that mean? I have talked to other people who have taken this or a companion and they have gone the same route. Thanks for your time. Terry |
