Stopping taking EnpresseBy Emily from Seattle, WA on February 12, 2006 Category: Enpresse-28 (Oral) What can you expect when you stop taking a birth control pill, Enpresse-28 in particular? There's a lot of information available about taking this drug and drugs like it, but next to none about stopping taking it. I've been taking Enpresse-28 for a few years and decided to discontinue using it recently. About a week before my last pill package was finished I had unprotected sex. My period followed as usual about a week or so later. I have not had unprotected sex since, but have not had my following period and am approximately one week late. Could this be a result of stopping taking the pill rather than a possible pregnancy? In one of my online searches I read that it's possible to miss a period after ceasing taking Enpresse-28, but haven't seen any other mention. I'd greatly appreciate any information you could give me.
