Catapres and Norvasc

My doctor is changing my blood pressure medication from Diltiazem 240 mg to Catapres TTS-1 and Norvasc 5 mg. I will still be taking cozaar 100 mg. He is doing this because when I see him my blood pressure is high 175-185 over 80-88. When I take my blood pressure at home, it is well within the normal range. 120-128 over
65-75. My blood pressure monitor has been tested in his office and my blood pressure is the same as he gets with his machine

I haven't started the new medication because I don't think I have a lot of faith in him. I am going to be seeing a new doctor, but he can't see me for 6 weeks.

I also take thyroxin .175 for Hashimoto's Disease.

My question is, is it safe to take Catapres and Norvasc?
