Drug interaction with Carbaxefed DM RFBy Kristina from Pico Rivera, CA on February 10, 2006 Category: Carbaxefed DM RF (Oral) My 21 month old daughter's pediatrician prescribed Carbaxefed for her chest congestion. He said that Tylenol was fine to give her with. She seems to have pain when she coughs. Doctor had mentioned her throat had redness. I wanted to know if I can also give her Baby Motrin, because the Infant Tylenol does not seem to helping with the pain, Can you suggest anything else with regards to throat chest pain relief for a toddler of this age? And also, the doctor said that she probably has the cold that's going around right now. But, she also had a fever of 102 - 104, that has now subsided. Would a fever accompany a cold? Isn't a fever a sign of infection? Thank you for any advice you can offer? |
