LORATIDINE - IS IT A POSSIBLE CAUSE OF ALOPECIA AREATABy PAM from uk on February 08, 2006 Category: Prescription Drug Reference Could long term/frequent use of loratidine be a possibe cause of alopecia areata? My partner has been using it on a daily basis for a number of years now, and after reading some of the side-effects on your web site, most of which apply to him, I note that one of the side effects listed is dry hair and skin. He also gets back and leg pain. Also bad stomach cramps at times. (Which the doctor has put down to colic). He has also suffered from chest pain, which we thought at first may have been the onset of asthma. He is also suffering from anxiety, depression, & tension which we thought was caused by him not liking journeying to work on a daily basis. (Hour and half drive- with him as passenger) |
