M.D. from Miami, florida U.S.A.. on February 01, 2006 Category: Avastin (Injection) This is a 48 year old female affected of diabetes insulin dependant since age 15 who suffer also of multiple sclerosis started 6 years ago and treated with Avonex IM weekly. Actually she has an episode of vitreal hemorrhage and the presence of neoformation vessels according whith the investigations (ct scan, photo with fluorescein, etc) done. My question is: there are any contraindication in the use of Avastin intravitreal in this patient who also is affected of MS?
