Missed period but take Camilla pills everyday and haven missed anyBy Mika from Connecticut on January 31, 2006 Category: Camila (Oral) I started taking Camila in November after I was taken off the patch by my doctor because of high blood pressure. I had a regular period but in December I just spotted for that month. Now Its January and I'm on my sugar pills and I haven't gotten my period. Jan-27 I went to the urgent care hospital because I was having severe Abdomin pains. Does any of this sound farmiliar to any one. I'm getting really worried. |
camila 28 day bcHey, I have been taking this mini pill for about the past 3 mnths and have not had a period yet. I haven't experienced any spotting yet. I do experience abdominal pain badly sometimes but I am not sure if it is a side effect of this pill or not. By Lemon from nashville, TN on February 20, 2006 | Reply | Mika and LemonI am in the same boat as the both of you. I switched to Camila BC 3 months ago and I haven't missed a day. The first month I had a period but it was late, it wasn't very heavy but it was a period. Then the next month I didn't get a period at all, I had some light leaking later in the month but I wouldn't call it anything close to having my period and it stopped after a day. Ever since then, now being 3 months that I've taken it, I can say that I haven't had my period in 2 months!!! Right after I had the spotting, I had intense cramping like I was going to start my period but it never came. One of the days I thought I was starting my period so I went to the bathroom and noticed a small drop of blood in my underware (sorry if it's too much info) and I've heard stories about this being a sign of pregnancy. I'm starting to wonder if this BC is right for me. By Katelyn from Portland, Oregon on April 28, 2006 | Reply | No period hereI also switched to Camila from the patch due to high blood pressure. The first month on it I had a period, and then I had none. After being 2 weeks late, I paid a visit to my OB doctor and he explained that this is a normal side effect of the pill. He cautioned that I should be taking a pregnancy test at the start of every new pill pack just to be on the safe side, however. By Lisa from North Carolina on June 20, 2006 | Reply | Write a Reply |
