Could Brometane cause a small rash on Daughter's cheek?By John from Tampa, FL on January 31, 2006 Category: Brometane DX (Oral) I took my daughter to the Dr. yesterday for chronic cough (dry to slight bark) and fever. The Dr. listened to her breathing and concluded there was no sign of congestion in her lungs. (Currently my wife has walking pneumonia and I am taking a Z-pak for bronchial irritation). He prescribed Brometane DX for the cough and also stated it should help with drying the congestion. She slept fine last night, but my wife and I both noticed a red rash on her face (left cheek). I checked on line for possible side effects of Brometane and didn't see rash listed. I gave her the last dose this morning at 9 and gave her a dose of Benadryl at 4 today. Should we be overly concerned about the rash. (She's seven yrs. old) Thanks, John |
