Can Dermatop be used on ringworms?

Have what appears to be a ringworm on my thigh...itches and is red. Have used a not steriod cream on this spot and didn't work. Dermatop was suggested and am trying it. This is the first day of treatment, using three times daily. Please inform me if this is not the proper medication for this product. Thanks for your help.
