Can you drink alcohol while you are on Tegretol-XR?By Kris C from North Providence, RI on January 29, 2006 Category: Tegretol-XR (Oral) I just wanted to know if you are NOT supposed to drink any alcohol while taking this medication. My boyfriend has epilepsy and is on this medication and has been having seizures more frequently usually 1 seizure every 2 months... And he just had one yesterday and the time before that was 2 weeks ago.....He is a social drinker |
