Administering Zydis

My husband resides in a nursing home due to moderate/severe Alzheimer's Disease with hallucinations and is prescribed zydis 15mg nightly. Some of the staff administer in juice or apple sauce, while others deliver directly. Is there a difference in drug affect with different delivery?
