Not getting Period while taking TriNessaBy colleen from Minnesota, USA on January 24, 2006 Category: TriNessa (Oral) I am on the seven green pills at the end of your 28 day cycle. I am on the 3rd green pill and have not had any bleeding. Am I pregnant or is this common? I usually get my period the day before I start the green pills or the day I start them.
thank you, colleen |
Same problem with TriNessaI'm having the same problem. I'm on the green ones, and I usually get my period that Tuesday (which is today). I haven't yet gotten it, and I usually get it in the morning. I missed 2 pills this month, but took them the next morning when I remembered. Could this have effected it or is this common? By Rachel from upstate New York on July 18, 2006 | Reply | same problem! This does make me feel better. I am having the same problem and just started TriNiessa. I am on my first set of green pills and have not started my period. I had very, very minimal spotting the first day of the green pills. Also, I have had all of the pre-mentrual symptoms. I get paranoid and extremely nervous when my period doesn't come. If it doesn't come by tomorrow I will be getting a test to see. I hope this problem doesn't continue. I haven't heard of any medical explanation, but it would make me feel a lot more comfortable. Not getting your period on time can be such a stressful thing. By Kristin from Seattle, WA on June 12, 2007 | Reply | me too!Same EXACT thing is happening to me also! I just switched to Trinessa/generic brand after being on Estrostep for a year. This is my first month on trinessa and i am 3 days late for my period!! what is going on?! By emily from Maryland on December 05, 2006 | Reply | TriNessa (Oral Contraceptive)I've got the same issue as you guys too. The last pill I took was the Monday night pill on the green. I've had a few problems with these pills, exactly like this. I get so worried because I think I'm pregnant, than I get my period. This might be the latest I have gone without getting my period though, and it seems to get later and later each month. I'm not sure if its always a defect in the pill or if I'm pregnant, so I sit and worry. I haven't missed a pill this month, but I don't always take them on the exact time spot either. It seems to me that I shouldn't worry, because it's not the first time I've had a late period, and now theres other people with the same problem, but it's really annoying to worry about something so simple like this. Maybe I should call a doctor who specializes in TriNessa. Anyways, I hope you guys take some sort of comfort in this issue, since we're all dealing with the same issue. I've dealt with this for about 3 consecuitive months now, and I always end up getting my period. Hope everything works out for the best for all of you! -Jess By Jessica from WI on January 30, 2007 | Reply | Light to almost no period, off scheduleI also have this problem; it's a good way to freak me out. (I'm really careful, just excessively paranoid). It doesn't seem right to be so off the mark; I just take all the pills in succession, is this ok? I haven't noticed any other side effects other than sore breasts. Is there a medical explanation for this? I've been on birth control for about 2 years now, and I was on Ortho for awhile before I swtiched to Trinessa in the last 5 months or so (so it seems like it should have straightened out by now!).
