Amlodpine

I am taking 150 mg Irbestan - very recently I had severe lower back pain and the Doctor prescribed Diclofenac 50mg tablets

This resulted in very high blood pressure -and almost passing out with head spinning etc etc

No longer taking Diclofenac as back pain cleared up

Doctor has prescribed Amlodipine 5mg to bring down my blood pressure - although after taking two tablet over two days I still feel groggy

Can I take Irebesarten in conjunction with Amlodipine - I did not ask the Doctor an dthe surgery is closed for the weekend

Regards

Amlodipine

I take a similar concoction 300Mg Ibersartan and 5 mg amlodipine along with 100 mg atenolol. All three work to control heart rate and pumping action. If your heart rate goes below 40BPM you could get light headed and even run the risk of passing out. I had to get a pace maker to keep the rate up. Consult your cardiologist is the best advice anyone can give you.
