Can continual use of Zostrix HP cause cancer?By Patricia Dunlop from Ontario, Canada on January 20, 2006 Category: Zostrix (Topical) I have used Zostrix HP for many years for back and knee pain. The pharmacist at CVS in Algonac, Michigan told my husband that continued use of of the .075% Capsaicin strength (Zostrix HP) can cause changes to the skin cells and eventually, cancer. Is this true? I have never heard anything about it before this and I cannot even find anything about this on the internet. I do not want to stop using this product because it works better than anything else I have tried for me. Please reply to this email. |
