Extended use of Cyclobenzaprine hydrochlorideBy Curtis M from northern Indiana on January 17, 2006 Category: Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride I was a 49 year old male medium build 135 lbs 5'7 I was placed on this drug to decrease inflamation after a neck injury. My problem was that I was on 10mg t.i.d. for 19 weeks. I had, over this time, developed, an inability to uninate, loss of sensitivity, and effective impotence. Before if I had to urinate, I had to go right then. There was no waiting and no advanced notice. I have now been off it for 2 full weeks., My heart rate is @ 100 bpm and my bp is now 160/95. before 75 and 132/84 I am looking for any information about the long term usage and possible side effects of this drug. |
