Antacid - will my birth control pills still work if I take an antacid?By nicole from Syracuse, NY on January 17, 2006 Category: Enpresse-28 (Oral) I just started taking birth control for the first time ever. I am on my second pack. I was reading how taking penicillan will "void out" birth control so to speak. However it also reads antacids do as well. That scares me, because I have heartburn a lot. I take Tums and or Zantac almost everday. Is this true? |
