Aviane and my Menstral Cycle Irregularity

Taking Aviane, but will it help me with my irregular periods and bleeding?

Hello,
Since my sophomore year in high school I have had many problems with my menstral cycle. You see I began having extremely irregular periods. When I say irregular, this is what I mean...it started and I would spot for about a week and then I would actually have a pretty regular flow for about a week. Then after a couple of months like that I started having my period in any form (light, regular, or heavy) everyday and if I didn't have one I always wore something because I was scared that something would happen. This went on for a year and a half (I'm not kidding) and finally after a horrible day when I had to change my clothes every hour because it was so heavy that nothing was preventing me from having an accident and I couldn't even sit down I decided to go to the doctor. It was my first time to go to a women's doctor. She gave me some medication to make me stop so that I could get regular again (it was not the pill) this worked for a month and then I didn't have a period at all for six months.

When I got it again I was fairly normal for awhile...this was now my senior year in high school. About three months into college it began to do the same as before but at a quicker rate. I practically skipped the whole spotting thing and just started having my period everyday again. So over Christmas break I went to see my doctor again. She put on the same medication I was taking before but just to make me stop then on January 1st I was to start taking Aviane. Well everything was working as planned I had stopped having my period and I was still taking the one medication (this was Decemember 31st, the day before I was to start with the pill) and I had a little accident. So the next day I just started the pill anyways thinking I would stop...its been two weeks and I'm still going and it is really heavy again. I have one more week on the Aviane until I take the fake pills.

Will I ever be normal?

I hate this because I don't like going places or hanging with friends or even trying to have some type of love life because I am constantly thinking about my "Aunt Flo". This is horrible. I need help.
