Coumadin v/s Omeprazole, effects on INR?By Scott W from Western Colorado on January 16, 2006 Category: Warfarin sodium I am a long term user of both Coumadin and Omeprazole. I recently stopped the Omeprazole and my INR dropped. I also recently learned that long term use of Omeprazole my not be a good idea, especially when it produces little to no benifits. Before I re-explore a new medication for my stomach acid conditions can you recommend one with the least interaction with coumadin as I may have to stop/start medications until my problem is cured. My doctor and I will take it from there. Thank you, Scott |
