Jolivette effectivness & breastfeedingBy Angie from Anchorage, AK on January 16, 2006 Category: Jolivette (Oral) I am 8 weeks and 4 day postpartum and I am currently breastfeeding my son with an occasioanly suppliment of formula (once in a while). Starting Wednesday (9 weks postpartum) I'll be going back to work and my son while being using formula during the day (9-5) and I'll be breastfeeding early mornings, evenings and weekends. My question is when is the Jolivette POP birth control pills effective. I don't think I've restarted my period yet, i did bleed when I had a IUD put in at 5 weeks and then again when it was taking out at 6 weeks postpartum (IUD was removed due to it trying to go through my uterus. I started the POP pill on Wednesday 1/11/06 (8 weeks postpartum). I know I am not pregnancy due a negative pregnancy test taken on 1/3/06, it was a pre-operation test, I had masses removed from both ovaries.
