The drug was reduced to 25mg, for 2 wks,( no change in symptoms). Reduced to 12.5 mg for 1 wk (symptoms persisted).. Symptoms decreased 80% within 14 days upon discontinuation of seroquel.. Urologist prescribed novo-oxybutynin (for 1 mo.) which reduced symptoms to 0% within 3 days. |
PatientI have been on this, and it is of no surprise to hear that someone had urinary incontinence using this drug. It knocks you on your butt, you are lucky to be able to talk without slurring let alone hold your urine. I did not have trouble holding my urine and was on a very high dose but it does have a relaxing effect, so that may be why it caused your problem.
