Tylenol Simply Sleep - possible adverse side effects

I've been taking Tylenol Simply Sleep for the past three months or so, or for at least three months.

I have had trouble falling asleep from what I believe is caused by stress from full-time work and as a full-time student in graduate school, which is added to what were weakened relationships (the life-balance is a cyclical process I haven't yet mastered); regardless, I've been taking the pills to help me sleep or to pass my anxiety that I experienced throughout the day so that I CAN sleep soundly. Otherwise I can stay awake into the night and into the next day, to 3 or 5am. I rarely go to bed before 1230AM.

Within the past two weeks, I've noticed my nose has become really dry from excessive blowing; I've had thick mucus/snot within my nose and throat.

Within the past week, I've experienced a numbing sensation in my fingertips. My fingertips and toes have been really cold lately, too. I can feel sensations like, 'I have an itch on my neck, or scalp' but I can't FEEL it really in my fingers. I can still smell and taste, but it's almost like the inside of my nose has no real feeling and my throat is the same. The other night, after taking my sleeping pills, I felt like I couldn't breathe. I had to crouch with my shins to the floor, hugging my knees and breathing like I was doing lamaze or something.

I've also felt like I've been in a daze lately ...sometimes dizzy and with headaches. Within the past week I feel like I could pass out, and I've experienced two anxiety attacks in the car while driving (my palms get sweaty, and my breathing increases, and my heart feels like it's going to burst out of my chest).

Everything seems dull, and I'm a little scared. I don't know if I should go to a doctor, if this is a common side effect in this type of drug, or if perhaps this is related to the medication I've been administering to my fish (Melafix: main ingredient is Melaleuca; StressZyme, and Maracyn-TC: active ingredient tetracycline hydrochloride, administered in a 750mg dosage) if it's anxiety/stress-related, or if anyone else has experienced these types of symptoms.

If you can help me or provide any type of feedback, I'd greatly appreciate your assistance. Thank you.

Kat,
GO TO THE DOCTOR NOW! The stuff you have described is dangerous. You really must seek professional advice.

you sound stressed!

Kat: it sounds to me like you are experiencing symptoms from anxiety and stress . . . not so much from the sleeping pills. I have been taking the same pills for some time now and I have never had any such side effects from the medicine.
