Pain in both sides of my lower back after using Novo-GemfibrozilBy Merlin Geller from West Palm Beach, Florida on January 11, 2006 Category: Gemfibrozil I have been taking Novo-Gemfibrozil for the past 2 years and resently I have developed lower back pains on both sides. My dosage is 1 pill of 600 mg per day. I have not been able to tolerate without the same side effects other brand name lowering cholesterol pills due to the same effect but in a shorter time frame. I also play golf more often then I usually do. Therefore I am not sure if this lower side back pain is comming from this pill or from golf. Yhe question I have is do I stop this medication for 1 or 2 weeks and see if the pain goes away or is their a blood test I should take that will tell me exactly if this medication is causing my pain? |
