Lisinopril vs. Fosinopril

Was on 20mg Fosinopril for over a year. BP (and weight) went up over that year, occasionally checking at 150/95. Doctor told me he was increasing my prescription, and at the same time the VA was switching to Lisinopril. My next prescription refill, I was using 20mg Lisinopril. I used the 20mg for a month or so, and noticed that I was sleeping a lot, getting tired during the day. BPs were always close to 120/80, low for me. I started cutting the pills in half, and saw that my BP was still maintaining below 120/80. Still feeling sleepy a lot, I cut the pills in half again (5mg now). After a couple weeks, I am maintaining low BPs, and today (my lowest) was 110/58, but usually about 117/73. For the last couple days, having a cold w/cough, and taking cough syrup (Robitussin CF). I also started a low starch diet yesterday. What is causing the low BPs, and do I need to call the doc before my next appointment? Does grapefruit affect any of this?
