Activella for severe joint pain

I have severe joint pain. My bone density test is very normal and arthiritis has been ruled out as well. My overall health is excellent except for sever joint pain. My doctor has just placed me on Activella, however, my question is whether Activella will eliminate my severe joint pain. Being that I have an absolutely good bill of health in my recent visit to the doctor (physical exam which included blood work, bone density, mammogram, etc) the only other possible solution to my severe joint pain in my doctor's eyes is Activella. Have you had women contact you about Activella helping with eliminate their joint pain. I just started taking it this week, but with the many side effects, I want to make sure that I NEED to take it and that taking it will help my main concern which is joint pain.

I currently take the following supplements: multivatimin, fish oils, magnesism, calcium and glucosamine.
