Frequency and Duration of Herceptin TreatmentBy Nancy Holtzman from NH on January 05, 2006 Category: Herceptin (Injection) Once remission has been reached for a patient with metastatic breast cancer, does the frequency and duration of herceptin treatments change? For example, I began receiving Herceptin once a week about a year ago. I have now been in remission for about 6 months. Is it likely that my treatments will be decrease to bi-weekly? Or, in my case, since I have had metastics to my lungs and spine, will I be more likely to remain on a weekly treatment schedule? |
