Wayne from Springhill, Florida on December 02, 2005 Category: FENTANYL (Transdermal) (Patch I am a chronic pain subject since 4/04,when it was discovered that I had DDD.Eventually I was placed on 50 mcg/h fentanyl along with 20 mg methadone 3 X daily, I also noticed that there was a concentrated amount of alcohol in the same patch. It wasn`t until a few weeksago,while reading up on fentanyl patches,that I realized that the fentanyl is in a persons system for several days after a person stops using them. I am curious the does the alcohol remain in your system after the patch is no longer used as with fentanyl,if it does what is the time span for the alchol to get out of a persons termination of the transdermal patch.
