What's In your Coating? Can one be allergic to it?

Re: Glutofac High Potency Multi-Vitamin

 I took the vitimin many years ago with no side effects and it worked very well. Now, it makes my heart race.

 A representative from the company has suggested that I might have become sensitive to an ingredient (Vitamin/Mineral) over time. This may very well be true.

I thought that I might be having an allergic reaction to a specific vitamin/Mineral in Glutofac High Potency Multi Vitamin, but I'm thinking it might be the coating.

At the time the coating was pink/red in colour.

The current colour is green. Does this make that much of a difference?

 Would it be OK if I washed the coating off before I took the caplet?
