Estrogen cream or Estrasorb?November 21, 2005 Category: Gynecology Has anyone ever heard of estrogen cream, specifically estrasorb,causing muscle tension and hyperactive feelings? Is it better to start out with the smallest possible dose and work up? My doctor started me on a seemingly high dose (1 packet a night) for my blood results. My estradiol was in the normal range, though it was consider "low normal." In the last 8 weeks, since taking it, I have progressively become more tense and hyper, difficult to sit still. Secondly, how long would it take to notice a resolution of symptoms? I have been trying to use less in the past few days. |
