Bellamine SafteyBy Bonnie Wagner from Kentucky USA on May 31, 2007 Category: Bellamine (Oral) I have been taking this medication for a very long time to compat syptoms that mimic carcinoide sydrome. I have been tested many time and do not have carcinoide sydrome but this medication is the only thing keeping me from total melt-down. How harmful is the medication. I recieved notification from my drug company that is being taken of the market and not to go off of it cold turkey. I couldn't even if I wanted to - tried once due to financial issues and thought I was going to die. All the medications they are listing to substitue for Bellamine have large amounts of caffeine which I can't have due to very very very sever IBS that keeps me home bound. Does anyone know what the problem with the drug is and what it is doing to our bodies that the FDA would take it off the market. If so, please let me know at berrywagner@aol.com. THANKS Bonnie.
