Side effects of treatment of Amphotericin B

My husband is currently being treated with AmphoB for Valley Fever. He experiences extreme nausea. The outpatient faciity where he is receiving treatment runs it at a rate of 75. Would slowing the rate of infusion help in reducing the nausea.

He received this same treatment a year ago and did not experience nausea this severe. He is now having a recurrent flare up of the Valley Fever and is being treated with 300 three days a week.
