EC naproxen 375 mg causing belching and vomiting?By Ellen from Arlington, VA on November 08, 2005 Category: NAPROXEN (Oral) (Tablet) Good Day, My Mom has been taking EC naproxen 2x's a day for about a year. She is also taking metoclopramide once a day, protonix 40mg once a day, and a baby aspirin. With the exception of the naproxen, she has been taking these drugs for a number of years. Within the last two months, she has began belching and sometimes throwing up (mostly the evenings) when she eats a normal amount of food. As a result, she is eating a lot less. It seems if she puts too much in her stomach, she starts the belching. The belching has a peticular odor each time and it's also present when she is sick to her stomach. Any ideas? She won't go back to her doctor or let me contact him to see what his thoughts are on the subject. Thank you, Ellen |
