respiratory problemsBy sheryl from deerfield beach, fl on February 08, 2007 Category: METOPROLOL (Oral) (Tablet) I am a 52 year old female and have been on lopressor 25 mg twice daily for 2 weeks following angioplasty and a stent. This last week I have started with moderate coughing (sounds croupy-like). I don't have a cold but do have chronic bronchitis related to cigarette smoking which prior to beginning this med was basically asymptomatic. Can lopressor exacerbate this and possibly be responsible for this cough? |
