Had problems with progestons before now have to take mini pillBy Jennifer on January 08, 2007 Category: Ortho Micronor (Oral) I cant take A combined Birth control pill because the estrogen gives me high blood pressure. So they want me to take Ortho Micronor. But I have had problems on the Depo shot which included bleeding moderate to heavy for months, blurry vision, headaches, mood swings, oily skin, weight gain, and horriable crying spells for no reason, I also got a cyst from it too. The doctor told me that The progestron in the Ortho is different than the one in the Depo shot. Is this true? Will it still affect me the same way as the shot did? I had taken natural progestron for awhile to regulate my periods and that didnt affect me. so honestly I dont know whats going on. I also read that The mini pill is less affective than the regular combined pill is this true. and just one more question.. I am on the Nuva Ring now on the day i have to take it out do I take a pill that day? and am i protected against getting pregnant as soon as i star and pill? Thanks! *Jen* |
