maximum dosage

What is the "normal" dosage people start out with this drug and what is the "maxium" dosage. I was on Zoloft 100mg and went to buderprion 100mg. It has been 1 week and I feel as though my depression is back and I am right back where I started from. Do you think I may need a higher dosage?
