Just wanted to pass along some tests for women who are pregnant. Some of these pregnancy tests, sometimes called "indicated tests," are usually given to women who are considered more at risk due to an indicator in her medical or genetic history or if she has an abnormal result in her pregnancy screening test. However, some of these 'indicated tests,' such as the ultrasound, are being utilized more often during pregnancy within the recent years. Regardless of whether a mother or her fetus is at risk of serious health problems, here are some of the tests you can either ask for or receive from your physician. These prenatal tests include:

1) An Ultrasound
2) Alpha-fetoprotein test
3) Contraction stress testing
4) Non-stress pregnancy testing
5) Fetal motion count
6) Amniocentesis
