use of Sporanox with children's fungal infections

Sporanox has been prescribed to clear up a new fungal infection on my 10 year-old's toenail. What, if any, information is available on the safety of this treatment in children. I have not been able to locate any information regarding this. I know it has not been widely prescribed for children.
