Arthritic pain from Pneumococcal vaccine?By Loretta Nowicki from Syracuse, NY, USA on December 03, 2006 Category: PNEUMOCOCCAL VACCINE (Injection) (Injectable) Is it possible that a couple of months after being injected with this vaccine that hands get swollen and pain in hands and joints become prevalent? I occasionally suffer from fibromyalgia but I never have as much pain as I am having right now. I'm a pretty healthy person and will see a doctor soon about this problem. I've never had arthritis and in thinking back over all of this, my problems began a short time after being told that with the flu vaccine and because I'm 65 I had to have this shot and had no choice in the matter; the government was paying for it. I had the shot in October because my husband has esophageal cancer and I did it to protect myself and him, but I've had nothing but problems ever since. Please let me know. Thank you. |
